Our Lady with the Child, Little St. John, and St. Joseph

Pinacoteca Museum of the Holy House, Hall XV. The attribution to Buonacorsi is contested by many who posit, instead, that this is a 17th century work of the Florentine school, influenced by Raphael and Andrea del Sarto. The Latin words on the ribbon are from John the Baptist’s “Behold the Lamb of God,” John 1:29,36.
