Joseph Most Brave Prevents 1711 Battle
In 1711, while defended by only 5,000 soldiers, Quebec was being approached by Admiral Walker with 88 ships and 12,000 men. Public prayers were offered and the people entrusted their fate to Mary and Joseph. Walker was forced to turn back when ten of his ships were wrecked in route. The circular window at top refers to Joseph as Most Brave.
