This rather unique and very gracious fifteenth century painting of little Jesus with his virginal father and his maternal grandfather survives from the old altar of St. Agatha. Jesus is dressed, but astride a toy wooden horse. He holds the sure hand of Joseph, his father and teacher. Joachim stands by proudly with a lit candle. All three men have a similar demeanor and gaze.
