This mural was painted in the Abbey Church in the Beuronese style of religious art, developed at the Abbey of Beuron in Bavaria during the 19th century. The scene is from Luke 1:39-56. Behind Mary is Joseph who has accompanied her to visit her cousin Elizabeth.
