“Protecteur de l’Eglise” is the abbreviated French translation of the Latin title “Protector Sanctae Ecclesiae,” found in the Litany of St. Joseph, and rendered in English as “Protector of Holy Church.” One of eight wall panels in the votive chapel near the crypt-church of the Oratory.
